Local Attorney Joins Advisory Board of Lorenzo Theater Foundation

Peter Hagberg, a civil rights attorney with a governmental law background. Has joined the Advisory Board of the Lorenzo Theater Foundation. He joins James Forsher, professor at California State University East Bay, and Audrey LePell, former Alameda County Planning Commissioner.
Hagberg, a resident of San Lorenzo for the past four years, was formerly deputy general counsel for the Oakland Unified School District and served for five years as a mental health hearing officer for the Alameda County Superior Court. He currently is a commissioner on the San Lorenzo Unified School District Personnel Commission.
In his position on the Theatre's Advisory Board, Hagberg brings to the Theater Foundation his legal expertise, which, combined with the extensive theatre and cinema experience of Professor Forsher and the knowledge of the political workings of Alameda County of Ms. LePell, creates an eclectic source of guidance to the Board of Directors of the Lorenzo Theater Foundation.
Hagberg was graduated from Pomona College in 1963 with a degree in philosophy and earned his law degree, with honors, in 1966 from Columbia University School of Law where he served for two years on the Law Review.
The Lorenzo Theater Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit California 501-C 3 corporation dedicated to the restoration of the Lorenzo Theatre for use as a center for visual and performing arts. Contributions to further the Foundation's work may be sent to P.O. Box 193, San Lorenzo, CA. 94580.
